The situation was very complex, the US House of Representatives delayed many time although they arranged the callendar to approve PNTR with Vietnam so that they discussed other issues and listened to the Speaker Dennis Haster delivered his final speech in the House of Representatives, said the collaborator of Thanh Nien newspaper from Washington DC.
Now, the US Senators are waiting for the US House of Representatives to move the draft bill which approved PNTR with Vietnam so that they consider to approve it.
If the US Senate approve it this evening (US time), it means that PNTR with Vietnam completed all of procedures in the US Congress and wait for President Bush sign to approve. The Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper will continue to update hot news on this event in the next time.
