Preparations for next NA session finalised

The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee opened its 44th session on October 9 to finalise preparations for the coming 10th session of the 11th NA slated for October 17th.
The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee opened its 44th session on October 9 to finalise preparations for the coming 10th session of the 11th NA slated for October 17th.
NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong said that the NA Standing Committee will consider all preparations made so far and hear reports on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks and State budget for 2006, plans for socio-economic development and State budget estimate and allocation for 2007, the use of ODA funding and the results of supervising special subjects
The NA Standing Committee will also give opinions on a number of laws,reallocation and resettlement for Tuyen Quang hydroelectric-power project and completion of Ba Ria-Vung Tau gas project.
In the morning, Director of the NA Office reported that all necessary preparations have been made for the coming 10th session which is expected to open on October 17 and will last until November 30 and the NA Standing Committee gave opinions on the NA supervisory programme for 2007
