Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received Bounthong Chitmany, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection and Chief Inspector of the Government Inspectorate of Laos, in Hanoi on May 22.

The Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam always supports co-operative activities between Vietnam’s relevant agencies and the Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection and the Government Inspectorate of Laos, particularly in human resource training, inspection of the implementation of laws and policies as well as experience sharing in fighting corruption and wastefulness.

He said the current visit to Vietnam by Bounthong Chitmany will make practical contributions to promoting the Vietnam-Laos comprehensive co-operation.

Bounthong Chitmany informed the PM of recent socio-economic development in Laos and stressed the Lao Party and State’s utmost efforts together with Vietnam’s State and Party to foster and further deepen the Vietnam-Laos fraternal special co-operation.

He expressed his wish to further increase co-operation with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection and the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam.
